Trying to explain family names to others is a challenge.. but fun! I was honored when I found out that one of "Las Tias", my grandmother's 5 aunts who never married, was Margarita. Her nickname I think was "Toto." And now I'm friends with a sacred artist in Havana who lives two blocks from La Casa de las Tias! Much love, Mari-Tere!
